Can gold be delivered to a different address than the one I registered with?
Yes it can but you will need to send the request to us in writing at the following address: GoldMadeSimple, 4 Brewer Street, Manchester, M1 2EU, stating that you would like the gold to be delivered to a different address than the invoice address.
The letter must include your signature and we need to receive it at least 24 hours before the gold is despatched.
Please note with delivery our contract is fulfilled when any person signs for the package at the address you have requested. You are taking the risk of the gold being mislaid, or signed for by an unauthorised person.
-
Can I get my Gold grams Delivered?
Gold grams is where you own a portion of a large gold bar. This means you can't take delivery of it because you own a portion of the bar rather than the actual gold bar. However this is a lower cost investment so if you're not looking to take delivery of your gold this could be the better option for you.
-
Can I get my stored gold delivered at a later date?
If you have requested that your gold be stored in our Vault, it is possible to then get this delivered to you with a delivery charge. You should contact the customer services team via email customerservices@goldmadesimple.com or call on 0207 099 7451 if you would like to request delivery of your items. They will be able to advise you on the cost of delivery (minimum £100) and the timescales of the delivery.
The cost of delivery is higher than it would be if you choose to have your gold delivered at the point of order because there is a lot of administration involved in removing stored gold from our highly secure vault.
Please note, if you have purchased your gold using a debit card, then gold can only be stored and is not available for delivery at any time. If there was a situation where you needed to get your gold delivered that you had originally paid for using a debit card then we would need you to make a bank transfer for the amount of the original order and then we would refund your debit card with the same amount.
-
Can I have my gold delivered once it’s gone into storage?
Yes you can have your gold delivered to you at any time.
However, if you have first requested to have your gold stored and then request that it's delivered later it will cost you significantly more than it would have done if you'd requested delivery when you ordered. This is because the delivery charge is then based on vault handling charges plus the delivery charge by a different carrier.
